Grow in Faith

I find that I am most encouraged by encouraging others! I hope this encourages you!

Today is one of those days where I’m being tested on whether I’ll take God at His word or take the world at its word. What I’ve noticed is as you begin to display more faith, opportunities for faith increases. At first I started writing that the devil’s attacks increases but the Holy Spirit stopped me! All I heard was we grow from faith to faith. The Lord is giving me the opportunity to increase my faith. We have to experience pressing for our faith to mature, otherwise we will always be babes. Never maturing beyond the faith of a mustard seed. We have to trust God above anything the enemy can ever do to attack us! Some of us have more faith in the devil’s attacks than in God’s deliverance. We serve a limitless God, let’s remain in that place not bound by the desperation of the enemy who knows his time is coming to an end!

God wants us to grow more in our trust in Him and our knowledge of who He is, by choosing to believe in HIM over anything we might face. It’s easy to feel “ the devil is attacking me, if it’s not one thing it’s the next.” Instead of simply saying “ Daddy, thank you for giving me an opportunity to grow in my faith. Thank you trusting me to choose you when my situations say otherwise. Thank you for giving me clarity in moments of confusion to hear Your Word clearly. Lord, I am in Your hand NO ONE CAN SNATCH ME OUT. YOUR PLANS ARE GOOD AND YOU ARE WITH ME. You are my shield and refuge.” Today, that’s what I want to leave you with. God’s way is perfect! He doesn’t think the way that we do. His thoughts are higher. His thoughts are based on the will of heaven, His will. Unless we come in alignment with that there will always be discontentment. We will always feel like the devil is attacking as oppose to seeing it as a faith opportunity. Our experiences are dependent entirely on our vernacular, our view, but God sees beyond that! He’s looking down on our situations so he sees every possible angle, while we stare at it directly in front of us ! Let us grow from faith to faith, built like a house on a foundation that cannot be broken! The winds will come but the house will stand!

For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed both springing from faith and leading to faith[ disclosed in a way that awakens more faith]. As it is written and forever remains written, ” The just and upright shall live by faith.” Romans’ 1:17 Amp

“Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies.”

2 Corinthians 4:10 NLT

“For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.”

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NLT

amen and amen! Man…that’s the truth. Sometimes we really get stuck on what we can see directly in front of us. Thanks for the reminder that God sees the ENTIRE journey, He knows what’s coming next and is preparing us for it.

    1. Yes Georgia I love the way you put that, the whole journey. It was as I was driving home and praying I really understood what it means that His thoughts are higher. All I could see was the yellow buggy and high school on my right, but God sees my entire route home! He’s so good man!
